UCSF EARS
UI language:
All Resources
Browse tools, guides, and articles. Filter by hub/topic, format, trust label, and language availability.
Two language settings (different jobs):
“UI language” changes the text on this catalog page. “Open links in” controls which language version a
resource opens (with English fallback if needed).
What do trust labels mean?
Trust labels show how far a resource has gone through clinician editing, clinical review, and translation verification.
AI Draft
AI-assisted draft that has not yet had clinician editing.
Useful for orientation, not a substitute for clinical advice.
Clinician-edited
First pass by one clinician. Edited for clarity,
safety framing (“when to get checked”), and consistent routing across EARS.
Clinically reviewed
Second pass by review team. An additional clinician has
reviewed for medical accuracy and safety framing. This is the “English/source finalized” state.
Translation available
A non-English version exists but has not yet
been verified by a professional translator/medical interpreter. It may be AI-assisted.
Translation verified
This language version has been reviewed by a
professional translator/medical interpreter for meaning, tone, and medical terms.
