UC HEARS brings together leading researchers, clinicians, educators, and advocates from across the University of California network to advance hearing healthcare through innovation, collaboration, and evidence-based practice. We're committed to improving outcomes for individuals with hearing loss through research translation, professional education, and accessible patient resources.

What is UC HEARS?

UC HEARS (Hearing Excellence, Access, Research, and Standards) is a proposed systemwide collaborative network that connects hearing healthcare professionals, researchers, and educators across all University of California campuses.

Research Excellence

Driving innovation in hearing science, from basic mechanisms to clinical applications, through multi-site collaborative studies and shared resources.

Clinical Excellence

Advancing best practices in hearing healthcare delivery, diagnostic protocols, and treatment outcomes across UC medical centers.

Education & Training

Developing the next generation of hearing healthcare professionals through collaborative training programs and continuing education.

Patient Resources

Creating evidence-based educational materials and resources to empower individuals with hearing loss and their families.
